The Kimpton

A mid century ‘Palm Springs’ aesthetic was the inspiration for this relaxed, coastal home on the Mornington Peninsula.  White painted brick work and timber battens formed the basis of the design’s material palette, further enhanced by a parapet roof profile, open carport, and indoor-outdoor connection.

Highlight windows to capture sunlight and the natural flow of spaces from mud room to laundry to kitchen, and zoned parent and family wings provide for a family friendly home. The focus for the stunning outdoor entertaining space is a palm tree punched through an organic shaped cut-out in the ceiling and a resort style pool.
